On the 17th of July a round-table discussion: “Efficient recruitment: how to fill complex vacancies” - was held in Kaluga.
“Consort Kaluga, together with CONSORT Group’s Moscow office, was the meeting organizer. The Kaluga Business-Journal and Jobs for You – rabota.ru media -company were partners of this event. HR partners from large Russian and foreign companies such as SABMiller Rus, Volvo Vostok, CIE Avtocom, PCMA Rus, Fuyao Group, Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga, Berlin Pharma Kaluga, JGefkco, Volkswagen Group Rus, CBMI Construction Со, HP-Pelzer took part in the round table.
Opening the meeting, Uliana Miska, Director of the company “Consort Kaluga, ” Ulyana Misca noted that the Kaluga representative office has worked on the personnel search market since 2011 and the company CONSORT Group (Moscow) – since 1992, with services ranging from top-management to mass recruitment searches. Since then over 9,000 search assignments were successfully completed and offices in Moscow, St- Petersburg, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Kaluga were opened. «We entered the market with great ambitions and readiness to solving tasks of any complexity. Our company consists of professional consultants in various practices, ranging from automotive Industry, pharma, finances to construction and sales», - underlined Uliana Miska.
CONSORT Group’s Project Director Irina Schavinskaya made a presentation of the Group’s capabilities to attract unique specialists from other Russian regions and the CIS. She pointed out fundamental stages: from the market research, candidates’ search and negotiations with them to maintaining the client-candidate balance of interests. «Direct search for personnel springs from the market, specialists available on the market, often from the competitor companies. This is intensive individual work with every candidate”, emphasized Irina Schavinskaya.
47% of CONSORT Group’s projects were done outside Moscow. Currently, Moscow’s specialists are in demand in the regions, especially during the start-up projects launch stage. Thus, in Kaluga a mass- recruitment and outstaffing project for an international automotive supplier was completed.
CONSORT Group’s Development Director Julia Balakina told the audience about ways of meeting large manufacturing companies' staff requirements in the regions and shared the experience of international companies, working on the Russian market. She enumerated major international staff trends of the recent years. These are a fast population ageing and timely managers -succession planning. Candidates much more actively manage their careers, and HR -people have higher requirements for the candidates’ “past purity”, all the way down to their credit history. Julia Balakina also pointed out practical usefulness of outsourcing for companies’ personnel departments.
Michael Bogdanov – General Representative in Russia/CIS of the International Executive Search Federation (the world’s largest association of independent search consultants) and (CONSORT Group’s CEO ) shared the experience of cross-border movements of unique specialists and attracting expats as top- managers for Russian companies.
At the end of the round-table discussion, a presentation of Jobs for You – rabota.ru media company was delivered and a master-class “Staff Selection Coaching: Simple Solutions of Complex Tasks” - was organized.
