27.09.2013 - CONSORT further collaborates with the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce in St Petersburg (FRCC).
On Thursday 26th September 2013, FRCC held an event on its Suomitalo premises at 2 Bolshaya Konyushennaya, as part of the fact-finding mission arranged annually for those Finnish firms from different business areas that consider entering the Russian market.
Yury Mikhailov, Managing Partner of Consort Petersburg, was invited to give a presentation to the delegation of Finnish companies attending the workshop.
He introduced CONSORT Group and the services it offers to a wide range of international and Russian clients across Russia. During his presentation, Yury highlighted a number of topics such as search for top managers and other key people for newly-established firms, compensation and benefits issues, peculiarities of Russian corporate culture, and concerns and worries of the Finnish managers who hire local Russian staff for their subsidiaries. He also showcased several search assignments focusing on the intricacies that western companies might face with regard to personnel upon entering the Russian market. He also responded to questions voiced by the Finnish companies’ representatives which were proof of their interest in the market and appreciation of its complexity, and the need to make use trustworthy service partners to achieve success on the challenging but rewarding Russian market.
