On behalf of our client – Major Famous International Retail Company are looking for:

PURPOSE:

To establish the Company Brand as the preferred choice in home furnishing products and solutions that create a better everyday life for the many people, thereby reaching the Compant business objectives.

This shall occur by:

• stimulating home furnishing interest in each local market

• securing a strong brand and competitive position in each local market

• driving traffic to the Company store and website and digital touchpoints by attracting new and more visitors to visit more often, and build loyalty throughout their life stages.

Driving coherent analysis ensuring powerful insights are the foundation for the creation of business plans, marketing and communication direction, plans and briefs and bring marketing and communication plans to life.

ASSIGNMENT:

  • Build the foundation for strategic, annual planning and briefs in order to secure a common frame of reference for the entire business
  • Lead Marketing and Communication planning and support Business Planning
  • Lead Insight generation in order to drive sustainable growth within the local market, rooted in a thorough understand of the market in general, life at home and consumers
  • Strongly influence the Marketing & Communication direction, plans and briefs by ensuring that they are insights driven.
  • Create an insights framework, building on knowledge from past marketing activities performance, brand performance, consumer & customer trends and needs behaviors including own customer data.
  • Produce actionable insights from the marketing performance evaluation to drive continuous enhancements in effectiveness
  • Review and evaluate brand performance as an input to strategy development including brand positioning.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Marketing and branding knowledge.
  • Project and process management.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with shared insights to impact the outcome of decisions
  • Passionate about understanding consumer behaviour, and people’s life at home, the future and continuously build own knowledge base
  • Experience of working in customer-centric businesses, preferably retail and brand oriented, in a variety of consumer & customer landscapes and markets
  • Ability to synthesize, analyse, understand, and interpret data to develop strategic insights
  • Extensive experience in insights and planning, from 5 to 8 years minimum
